1,2,3.. Here I Come ! School Readiness Program Help your child be school ready
- Participants will attend six, two hour sessions through January, prior to commencing school. Sessions will be conducted by a fully qualified teacher and Speech Pathologist.
- The program will cover the following skill development:
- Identifying and Writing my name
- Independence in adding or removing a jumper/windcheater
- Independence in removing wraps for food time
- Recognising and counting 1-1 correspondence to 10
- Speaking in full sentences and using SVO sentence structure
- Comprehending information at a sentence level
- Sequencing a story
- Extending Vocabulary
- Building Phonological Awareness
- Using Language to Learn and Think
- Turn taking in games
- Gross and fine motor control
